This ring is cast in sand as one solid piece with sterling silver, made from an original design carved in wax. The sapphire is placed in the sand before casting, due to the flow of the metal stone may shift during the metal pour adding to the organic aesthetic process.

Imprints of the sand from this casting method are left in the silver for a rustic finish. The silver is oxidised adding contrast to the sparkling gemstone and depth to the texture.

The thickness of the ring is approximately 1.5mm at the bottom of the band, 3.5mm at the top. The ring width 3.2 mm at the bottom and 5mm at the top.

These rings are made to order in the size you want.

Due to the organic process of casting this design, there will be subtle differences with each piece making each ring unique and truly one of a kind.
