This is a hollow form design constructed with precious sheet metal. There is a small hole inside the ring which is intentionally placed to allow pressure to escape during the soldering process, this ensures the piece does not explode from pressure building inside the hollow cavity while being made.

This ring is 6mm wide, the band is approximately 2.4mm thick.
